Ask most head coaches what their least favorite part of the job is, and the majority would probably tell you it’s dealing with the media.
The reasons can vary, from just a general lack of interest in talking about the details to a full-blown hatred for anyone with a recorder, notepad and pen.

Big East basketball has a long way to go to earn the comparison to its football counterparts from a decade ago. But after last weekend, the conference certainly isn’t what it everything thought it was.

Joining Wall on the publication’s All-Freshman team are Wildcats teammate DeMarcus Cousins, Kansas guard Xavier Henry, Georgia Tech forward Derrick Favors and Arizona forward Derrick Williams.

OK, that’s not true. I haven’t been hiding for the last 10 days or so. I’d like to say I was busy with huge, important projects that left me with little time, but that’s not true.
I can’t even say I’ve been busy watching the Olympics, because that’s not true either. Outside of catching glimpses of the Opening Ceremony, I didn’t watch a minute. Does that make me un-American? Maybe. Did I care? Nope. Did I miss out? You tell me.
