Rumor is Rivers wants out after Celtics’ season done

This could be the final season for Doc Rivers as coach of the Boston Celtics.

According to the Boston Herald, Rivers is leaning toward leaving the team once its playoff run is done this season. The coach of course denies the report, calling it a “non-story,” but if it is true, could you really blame Rivers?

Word is the NBA will send three teams to play two exhibition games in Europe before the start of next season.

If that’s the case, the league might want to reconsider which teams its sending.
